If Moms Got Performance Reviews… We’d All Be Promoted

If moms got performance reviews, they’d all exceed expectations. Celebrate Mother’s Day with the gift of rest, relaxation, and self-care.

Let’s be honest, if moms had formal performance reviews, they would be running the world.

Somehow, they manage schedules, meals, emotions, appointments, lost shoes, school emails, and about a hundred other things before 9am. And they do it all while making it look (somewhat) effortless.

So we thought it would be fun to imagine what a real “Mom Performance Review” might look like…

Employee: Mom
Position: Everything, Everywhere, All at Once
Years of Service: Feels like forever
Status: Underpaid, overqualified

Strengths:
Exceptional multitasking skills. Can cook dinner, answer texts, solve a crisis, and find a missing hockey glove all at the same time.
Highly adaptable. Able to function on little to no sleep and still show up for everyone else.
Emotional support expert. From big life moments to little meltdowns, she is always there.
Snack distribution is elite. No one does it better.

Achievements:
Kept small humans alive and thriving.
Survived early mornings, late nights, and everything in between.
Managed approximately 47 group chats and endless calendar invites.
Successfully located items that were “definitely not there” five minutes earlier.

Areas for Improvement:
Taking time for herself.
Saying “no” without feeling guilty.
Remembering that she deserves the same care she gives to everyone else.

Overall Performance Review:
Exceeds expectations in every possible category. Deserves recognition, appreciation… and a serious break.

Because while moms are incredible at taking care of everyone else, they are often the last ones to take care of themselves.

At Sanctuary Day Spas, we believe moms deserve more than just a thank you. They deserve time to relax, recharge, and feel taken care of. Whether it is a massage, facial, or a few quiet hours to themselves, it is the perfect way to hit pause and reset.

So this Mother’s Day, let’s give moms what they really need, not another thing to do, but time to just be.

Because if anyone has earned it, it’s Mom.
