Not everyone is a fan of setting resolutions, and that’s perfectly OK! Since our expertise is in skincare and beauty, we’re sharing a few of our favourite ideas if you decide to set resolutions for yourself:

  1. Learn more about your skin. Our skin is our body’s largest organ, so show it a little respect! Taking some time to learn more about your skin type will pay off in the long run. It also leads to our next resolution idea…
  2. Develop a consistent skincare routine. Using the correct products for your skin type—in the correct order—will help make the most of their ingredients. Our skincare experts are happy to recommend treatments and products tailored to your skin type, goals and lifestyle!
  3. Step out of your comfort zone. Nervous to rock a red lipstick? Stuck in the same makeup routine for the past decade? Why not have some fun and try a new smoky eye technique or hairstyle? Who knows, you may discover a new favourite product or look!
  4. Practice good (skin) hygiene. We may sound like a broken record, but it bears repeating: Always, always, always wash off your makeup at the end of the day! Also, make sure to wash your pillowcases and brushes (hair and makeup) regularly, and wipe down your phone to cut down on germs, dirt and oil that can transfer to your skin.
  5. Nourish your body. Eat wholesome, nutritious foods and drink lots of water to glow from within. If you’re not a fan of plain water, add some herbs or a few lemon or cucumber slices for a spa-like experience.
  6. Prioritize your overall well-being. They say true beauty radiates from within, so why not translate a peaceful mind into radiant skin? Set goals to minimize stress wherever possible and incorporate meditation or mindfulness practices into your day.
  7. Celebrate, well, you! There is no ‘one-size-fits-all’ when it comes to beauty and skincare. Embrace your unique features and celebrate your individuality!
