Botox, Dysport & Dermal Fillers

Botox and Dysport are injectable treatments used to temporarily relax facial muscles that cause wrinkles and fine lines. They are commonly used to soften forehead lines, frown lines (“11’s”), and crow’s feet. Both products work similarly, but your injector will recommend the best option based on your goals and facial anatomy.

Dermal fillers are injectable gels used to restore volume, enhance facial contours, and smooth lines. Fillers can be used to enhance lips, cheeks, jawline, chin, and soften deeper folds or wrinkles while maintaining a natural look.

Botox and Dysport results begin to appear within 3–7 days, with full results visible around 10–14 days. Dermal fillers provide immediate results, although mild swelling may occur for a few days after treatment.

Botox and Dysport results typically last 3–4 months depending on the individual and treatment area. Dermal fillers can last anywhere from 6–18 months depending on the product used, treatment area, and individual metabolism.

Most clients describe treatment as very tolerable with only minimal discomfort. Botox and Dysport feel like a quick pinch, while many fillers contain a numbing agent to help maximize comfort during treatment.

There is little to no downtime. Some clients may experience mild redness, swelling, tenderness, or bruising at the injection site, which typically resolves within a few days.

A follow-up appointment approximately 2 weeks after your Botox or Dysport treatment allows your practitioner to assess your results once the product has fully settled. Everyone responds differently to treatment, and this visit ensures your results are balanced, natural-looking, and meeting your expectations. If any small adjustments are needed, your practitioner can discuss the best options with you at that time.
