You can relax – because we never do.

While restrictions are easing, we’re as dedicated as ever to our rigorous health standards and protocols. Welcome back to your Sanctuary.

welcome back

The Sanctuary Health and Safety Standard

Nurturing your well-being is what Sanctuary is all about. Our first priority is to ensure that you are safe, comfortable and relaxed on your visit with us.

Our equipment and common areas are sanitized regularly throughout the day. In addition to masks and physical distancing measures, we’ve installed plexiglass in treatment rooms to keep guests and staff a safe distance apart.  We’re also staggering appointments to minimize crowding and allow time for proper disinfecting between guests.

Before your visit

Guest screening

For everyone’s safety, we continue to screen guests within 24 hours prior to the appointment time. We waive our cancellation fee for anyone who isn’t feeling well.

Staff screening

Before every shift, each staff member undergoes a full health screening, which includes a temperature check. They wear clothing that is only worn during their time at the spa.

Physical distancing

Markers on the floor guide you on where to stand and sit to maintain a safe distance from others.

You are required to wear a mask at all times while at the spa. Staff will do the same.

Plexiglass dividers

We’ve installed plexiglass shields at the front desk as well as at manicure and pedicure stations.

We’ve suspended the use of treatment wear and hair ties, as well as guest lockers. Please wear or bring your own loose, comfortable clothing, and bring only what you need.

During and after your visit

We continue to clean

A thorough sanitization of the clinic is completed every hour. Common areas and touch points, including door handles, wait rooms, washrooms and reception, are disinfected.

Between treatments

We disinfect equipment and surfaces using medical-grade cleaners and protocols, allowing 15 minutes between appointments to ensure that sanitizing solutions have time to take effect.

Contactless payment

We ask that you pay by debit or credit and use the tap function to avoid contact.

At the end of the day

We bring in a professional cleaning service to clean the entire spa.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common answers to questions regarding our reopening.

Our goal is to get back to normal hours as soon as possible.  Our hours of operation at each spa will be updated regularly on this website and on our Google Business Pages.

Nothing is more important to us than the health and safety of our clients and therapists, especially under the current circumstances.

The COVID-19 vaccine is not mandatory for Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) in Ontario; however, the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) strongly encourages RMTs, especially those who work with vulnerable people to get vaccinated.

Regardless of whether an RMT and/or client have been partially or fully vaccinated, RMTs must practise in accordance with CMTO’s COVID-19 Pandemic – Practice Guidance for Massage Therapists (e.g., masking and infection prevention and control)

We waive our cancellation fee for anyone who isn’t feeling well, and we kindly ask for as much notice as possible.
